Exhibition and Seminar on Anti-Fascism History

Event Description:
On October 18, 2025, A.R.A.C will present a full-day Exhibition and Seminar dedicated to the history and ongoing fight against fascism. This event aims to educate the public about the dangers of fascism and promote active resistance through historical knowledge and civic engagement.

The day will open at 9:00 AM with the unveiling of a specially curated exhibition displaying rare documents, posters, photographs, and personal testimonies of antifascist fighters and victims. The exhibition traces the roots of fascism, its rise in Europe during the 20th century, and the courageous resistance movements that opposed it.

At 10:30 AM, the seminar will begin with a keynote speech by a prominent historian specializing in 20th-century European politics. The address will highlight the lessons of history and their relevance today.

From 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, a series of panel discussions will take place. Participants will include antifascist activists, educators, and representatives of survivor groups. Topics will cover the role of education in combating hate, contemporary manifestations of fascism, and strategies for community mobilization.

Lunch will be served from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, providing an opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas and reflect on the morning sessions.

The afternoon program, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, will feature workshops focused on activism skills, including organizing community events, digital advocacy, and legal protections against hate speech and violence.

The event concludes with a community pledge ceremony to reaffirm the commitment to antifascism and peacebuilding.

All materials will be available in printed form for visitors, and the event is free to attend with open access throughout the day.
